RONNIE GHENT NAMED HEAD COACH AND GM

The Cigar City Drafts in conjunction with the Legacy Football Alliance have come to terms with Ronnie Ghent as the team's Head Coach and General Manager. 

Coach Ghent will have the task in building the first-year arena football franchise from scratch, the Lakeland native is no stranger to professional football having played in the NFL, UFL and AFL for the Orlando Predators. 

 Coach Ghent coaching experience includes coordinators positions at the high school level, collegiate as TE's Coach at Southeastern University and arena as Head Coach for the Central Florida Jaguars in the AIF.

The Cigar City Drafts will kickoff their inaugural season in the Spring of 2026.
